UEW Slide-gate Valves
Unique Maintenance Slide Gates are economical and reliable components designed to isolate rotary valves located below hoppers, allowing controlled gravity batch unloading. These gates provide a positive shut-off of material flow, enabling service or replacement of the system’s rotary valve without requiring the hopper to be emptied. The Maintenance Slide Gate is manually operated and features a low-profile design. It is dust-tight from the inside out and is specifically used to facilitate maintenance operations in dry bulk handling, as well as gravity and pneumatic conveying systems. Standard sizes are available to match the square flange patterns of Unique Airlock Feeders, and custom sizes can also be manufactured to meet special application requirements.
